Responsibilities
*Be responsible for the support of retail backend applications systems as well as the progressive development of these systems
*Understand retail applications systems and their relationship with other systems
*Analyze the functional requirements of users and translate them into a technically feasible design
*Manage offshore development teams and coordinate them to meet project schedules
*Create test plans and conduct quality assurance tests and ensure completion of deliverables including documentation
*Provide first and second level system and user support on intranet applications
*Liaise with HQ teams for further technical support
*Travel internationally on project related activities when necessary
Requirements
*Must be a good communicator with the ability to communicate in both Japanese and English
*Must have application system implementation experience
*Retail system knowledge is preferable, as is web application and programming knowledge
*Basic skills in SQL, Oracle Database, Visual Basic (especially .net) preferred but not required
*Functional analysis, system design, development management, QA testing and user training experience preferrable

*Between 7 and 10 Million Yen Depending on Experience
