Company Description
European investment bank seeks a Custody Operations Staff member. This position is part of Operations responsible for asset servicing i.e. Custody service for international securities to face our clients locally and custodian banks.
Responsibilities
*This position is part of Operations responsible for asset servicing i.e. Custody service for international securities to face our clients locally and custodian banks.
*Tasks will include event capture, entitlement calculation, payment schedule and arrangement with clients, cash reconciliation, reporting and event related control in general.
*All roles within the team have a need for a high degree of client contact both internally and externally. To maintain the good relationship with clients and to retain the nice working environment in a team is key.
*He or she will be able to work well under time pressure with few errors for several different tasks during the day. Strong ability in working on projects and demonstrating innovation skills will be another beneficial aspect.
Requirements
*University Degree: Financial Accounting or Legal related desirable
*Fluent written and spoken Japanese with Business level English
*Minimum 2-5 years’ working experience in international securities custody operations or related areas in securities firms
*Basic knowledge in international bond or equity operations
*Knowledge in structured products and mechanisms would be a benefit
*Proficient at Microsoft Office tools, e.g. Access, Excel and Word (macros)
*Good communication skills and able to work in a team under pressure
