Company Description
The Tokyo securities branch of a European financial group employing 50,000 worldwide seeks an experienced candidate with strong potential for a role strengthening their operations team.
Responsibilities
*Japanese equities/CB settlement with offshore and onshore institutional investors
*TSE/OSE clearing and stock borrow operations (Global One)
*Trade confirmation and reconciliation for Japanese equities. (Oasys, Smartbridge)
*Fund/Securities settlement of foreign bonds (structured notes, Euro CBs)
*Derivative operations/settlement
*Swift operations
Requirements
*3 - 5 years or more of experience in the settlement/operations department of a broker-dealer
*Excellent communication skills (fluency) both in Japanese and English
*Experienced in working in an international environment
*PC skills (Excel, Word)
*Japan Registered Representative preferred
*Knowledge of products (Japanese Stocks, CBs and Warrants in domestic or Euro)
