Responsibilities
*Work with Japan based business leaders to develop, implement and manage the HR Strategy and Operation for Japan focusing on recruitment, performance management, talent management initiatives, leadership development, remuneration & benefits, and other HR projects
* HR Operations Setup – research, develop and deliver best practice HR practice and procedures to best suit the size and needs of the business
* Change Management – act as a change agent to improve corporate culture and atmosphere to become more aggressive and profitable
* Coach and counsel management on country HR issues practices, policies and procedures
* Lead, manage and develop the HR team locally
Requirements
* Demonstrated ability to initiate, promote and manage change, as well as to provide sound advice to senior management on a range of complex HR management issues
* At least 10 years practical HR business experience
* Recruiting, payroll and C&B knowledge
* Experience working for an international company
* Knowledge of employment/labor law
* Excellent communication skills
* Business level written and spoken English
