Responsibilities
*identify, share and implement HR best practices
*Foster continuous improvements in human resource function by analysing processes, monitoring effectiveness and recommending changes
*Consult with managers and employees to proactively address employee relations issues
*Implement and monitor appropriate salary ranges, performance management processes and promotions
Requirements
*Knowledge and experience with Japanese labor and social insurance regulations
*Knowledge and experience with recruitment, training and development and payroll processes preferred
*5-10 years experience working as a HR professional
*2-3 years managerial or supervisory experience preferred
*Good communication and English language skills
*Experience working in a professional services industry preferred
*Experience working in an international organization preferred
*Excellent interpersonal skills, including experience of working with a range of personnel within an organization
*Ability to solve problems through application of creative and lateral thinking, in addition self-starting ability and using own initiative
*Team player and willing to take "hands on approach"
