Engineering Manager

Company Description

This client is a global leading company for automotive components manufacturer, head quarter in Germany. They develop, produce and markets filter and air intake systems and other components.

Responsibilities

*Report to president of Japan branch and engineering managers in HQ Germany branch
*Manage all engineering staff (10 ppl now but will increase soon) to assure that all staffs work along with company guidelines
*Coordinate product development with other development centers
*Support for joint venture partners and alliances

Requirements

*Engineering degree
*Some years of experience in automotive design and development functions
*Managerial skills to lead employees.
*Basic knowledge of CAD and CAE.
*Experience in development of plastic parts in the engine compartment and/or
rather experience in packaging studies
*Very good product-know-how, systems engineering (engines, flow, acoustics, materials)
*Good communication in English verbally and in writing.
*Knowledge for engineering applications with different customers
*Sales engineer experience
*Experience in an executive function
*Communicative, especially between different cultures
