Responsibilities
*Identify client’s demand/requirement for a product through communication with Business
*Research internal investment resources
*Identify a product specification, including: investment discipline, investment style, asset class, region, benchmark, fund structure, pricing, timeline, disclosure requirement
*Conduct preliminary due diligence via communication with local and overseas functions (Investment, Investment Administration, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Tax, Investment Marketing, Reporting, Product Implementation, etc.) to scope the product structure/scheme from all angles, and diagnose business issues
*Coordinate the internal agreement on product development issues
*Outline the product structure and document the details for internal sign off
*Complete term sheet
*Organize hand-over to Product Implementation
Requirements
*Practical product development experience in the investment trust industry, covering most of the above functions, long enough to become a self starter
*Experience in the similar product development function in the investment trust industry is madatory
*PC skills (MS Excel, MS Office, Excel, Word, Power Point)
*Excellent project management skills, well-developed analytical thinking, able to multi-task, flexible with a strong sense of responsibility, self motivated and self learner
*Able to meet targets in respect of day-to-day work flows and new projects
*Investment management product knowledge is preferable
*Team player, innovative thinker
*Fluent and strong communication skills both in Japanese and English (writing, presentation, facilitation, influencing and analytical)
*Ability to work with senior management teams and colleagues at various levels
*University degree, and professional training - either post-graduate or industry experience (journalism desired)
*Event planning and management experience
*Management skills 5 to 7 years experience
*Minimum 7 years in communication function
