Company Description
*My client is a well known consumer goods company who is amoung the leaders in their market.
*They have been in Japan for over 20 years and have been experience consistent growth and rising sales.
Responsibilities
*Lead all Japan purchasing functions to solidify a clear strategy
*Optimize the selection of suppliers, purchasing compliance and developing cost savings company wide
*Implement and provide significant contributions for global procurement methodology
*Develop effective management plans relating to supplier selection, performance and relationship management.
Requirements
*At least 5 years of purchasing / procurement / sourcing experience
*Great negotiating & communication ability
*Strong cost analysis skills with a focus on cost reduction
*Strategic leadership and decision making skills with a desire for advancement and success with a global company
*A clear and straight forward manager with a “can do” attitude
*Advanced level Japanese & English ability

Remuneration:
*Up to 14 Million Yen Depending on Skills & Experience
