Responsibilities
*Daily production and analysis of the Exotic Trading Desk PnL
*Daily reporting of P&L Highlights as relating to the trading activity and market movements, to the Desk and Senior Management of the Firm
*Prepare the monthly accounting close, ensuring that the daily P&L is reflected accurately in the books and records
*Respond to Ad hoc reporting requests from the desk and finance management
*Support the revamp of the Exotic business and expand his/her knowledge of the various products traded across asset classes whilst meeting the increasing demands from the business and finance management in line with strong growth projection of the Exotic business
*Develop a thorough understanding of the complex risks (e.g. skew, correlations, modeling) associated with the business and how those risks impact the daily P&L
*Continue to build and cultivate relationships with other areas of Finance, Operations, and the Business
Requirements
*3-5 years of strong product control experience in Fixed Income. Cross assets knowledge a big plus (eg. Rates/ FX, Rates/Commodities)
*BS in accounting, economics or science degree in a quantitative related field with strong academic credentials
*Ability to work in a high pressure environment
*Team player who can contribute to the success of the team and the Firm
*Individual must have strong communication skills for effective interaction with operations and front office colleagues.
*Proficient in Excel VBA programming is a plus
