Company Description

*The company has a large operation in Japan and needs a talented team player to add to their planning and controlling department in order to support their rapidly growing business
Responsibilities
*Provide analytical support for departmental functions including financial plan, annual plan budget, project analysis, forecasts, and performance analysis
*Establish accounting procedures and methods for budgeting, closing and cost allocation
*Control costs by analyzing budgets and accruals
*Producing audited financial schedules related to the budget, revenues and expenses
*Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, account summaries and reports
*Develop knowledge and relationships with business units to guide plan process and understand planning issues
*Track monthly progress against goals and highlight necessary actions and recommendations to business/operations management
*Will work closely with the Controlling Manager to implement the growth strategy
Requirements
*A minimum of 3 – 8 years, prior Hands-on Functional Experience in the areas of Financial Reporting & Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Systems or Business Processes/Internal Controls
*Ability to work as an individual and on a team
*Strong analytical skills, organizational management, proven interpersonal skills, and excellent verbal and written communications
*Thorough knowledge of US GAAP, accounting policies and procedures, budgeting and financial planning
*Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
*Experience in IT industry is a plus
*SAP R/3 knowledge is a plus

Remuneration:
*Up to 11Million Yen, depending on skills and experiences
