Company Description

World leader in global investment banking actively seeking an experienced pricing and valuations expert for their exotic product line including structured derivatives, private equity and distressed assets.

Responsibilities

*Oversight of valuation of a range of illiquid products including exotic and structured derivatives, private equity and distressed assets
*Coordination and review of monthly price verification and client valuation processes
*Assist in implementing the fair value and related accounting policies across the financial control group
*Prepare and present reports for senior management regionally and globally

Requirements

*Relevant advanced degree or qualification required (ex: CPA, CFA, etc.)
*Accounting/Finance experience (specifically in the application of fair value)
*Strong quantitative skills essential
*Derivatives/illiquid asset valuation experience
*Proactiveness in driving issue resolution
*Excel and Access expertise with VBA experience
*Process-oriented thinking
*Fluency in English is essential
*Some Japanese ability or Japan experience required
*Strong teamwork skills are a must
