Responsibilities
*Reviewing and approving model documents
*Summarizing models to tailor for Product Control's needs in price testing and deal reviews such as communicating model / parameter deficiency issues to Equity product controllers
*New deal review for structured and exotic products
*Analysis of new trades including day 1 P&L and reserve calculations and documentation
*Liaison with other group (front office, operations and Risk) around correct booking of trades for risk and P&L purposes
*Developing mark review methods of all model parameters such as volatility surfaces, interest rate curves, dividend curves, correlation coefficients and other inputs to the exotic structures to ensure proper derivative inventory valuation
*Interacting with the trading desks and product controllers to resolve model and product related issues
*Specifying and advising on valuation aspects of new infrastructure initiatives, including the automation of price verification applications, aggregation of those results and full revaluation price testing
*Assisting in MIS reporting including monthly valuation package
*Performing ad-hoc trade analysis and statistical analysis
*Extensive interaction with, among others, Front Office, Market Risk, Operations, Information Technology, and other Finance Groups
Requirements
*Experience within a product control/valuation environment with exposure to equity derivatives and knowledge of modeling, price testing and valuation issues
*5 years experience in product control/valuations within a derivatives area
*Outgoing personality, quick learner, ambitious, adaptable, strong team player, deadline and goal orientated
*Good Organizational Skills
*Proactive: The environment requires a high level of initiative to address issues as they arise and confidence in analyzing and presenting financial data
*Confidence in discussing complex issues
*Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Remuneration:
*14 - 20 million yen depending on skill and experience
