Principal Investments Controller in Top Investment House
Top Investment House is looking for a qualified candidate who would like to join their Primary Investments Control team
Responsibilities
* Preparing and reporting the daily profit and loss.
* Understanding the businesses, the inherent risks, the systems used and the relevant processes.
* Preparation of analysis and commentary on significant profit and loss items with reference to specific transactions and broader market fundamentals.
* Preparation of deal and other management reports
* Daily P&L attribution and validation of trading activity.
* Preparation and analysis of the monthly mark review process, and other financial reporting requirements.
* Monthly reconciliation of the reported P&L to the Firm books and records.
* Work closely with manager to improve efficiency by challenging processes and procedures and making suggestions for improvements
Requirements
* Good accounting konwledge required
* Knowledge of financial products (bonds, equity and loans) plus
* 3 years experience as product controller with a financial institution
* Applicable Experience:
* Intermediate Excel and basic Access skills
