Responsibilities

*Confirming and processing of settlement instructions and payment amounts with Japanese counterparties for vanilla and structured OTC transactions.
*Preparation and sending of rate reset and payment advices for Japanese counterparties for vanilla and structured OTC transactions.
*Provide premium client service to Japanese based clients including dealing with a variety of OTC transaction related queries.
*Resolve internal client queries including liaising with trade capture team, documentation team, middle office and front office.
*Running and monitoring of control related reports.
*Preparation of some OTC and Note Issuance documentation

Requirements

Key personal attributes: -
*Is attentive to controls and addresses risk, high level of attention to detail in every aspect of work;
*Sets high targets/objectives for self;
*Ability to develop relationships with internal and external clients to understand and address their needs;
*OTC Derivatives technical knowledge including experience with ISDA documentation.

Work Experience / Background: -
The following would be advantageous:
*2+ Years OTC Derivatives Experience including Settlement, Documentation and Trade Processing Roles; and
*Previous experience in both Front Office facing and External Client facing roles.
*Note (Bond) settlement clearing system experience

Remuneration:
Up to 8million yen depending on skills and experience
