AVP Domestic Fixed Income Settlement

Responsibilities

*Supervise Domestic FID Settlement Group (4 staff) to run the group;
*Closely work with the VP for objective setting, development and performance review of the staff;
*Coordinate with other groups in Ops or relevant departments for smooth operations of his/her responsible area;
*Work with the VP to plan and drive strategic changes or mandatory changes;
*Ensure internal policy/rules as well as regulatory compliance is adhered to in the area of responsibility;
*Ensure identified risks are adequately controlled by controls implemented to mitigate operational risks, and if not immediately escalate such to the VP;
*Ensure that the Team members provide adequate client service to internal/external clients when performing the daily tasks as agreed with the VP.

Requirements

*More than about 5+ years of FID Middle Office or/and Settlement experience
*Experience of managing about 2 - 5 people;
*Client Centricity Mind-set;
*Change/lean mind-set for efficiency increase;
*Good understanding of both Domestic Income Products, and if possible loan background
*Control focus and understanding of regulatory requirements;
*Fits to a challenging environment;
*Ability to understand and address their issues & needs within the Operations team, other BO department members and the Business;
*Ability to analyze/resolve problems and provide solution to the Team.

Additional Notes

Remuneration:
Up to 12 million yen depending on skills and experience
