Company Description

A major financial services player is seeking a Financial Controller / Financial Reporting staff. This firm is consistently at or near the top of industry rankings for securities underwriting. It also offers research, sales, and trading of equities and fixed-income products, as well as real estate and advisory services. It serves major financial institutions, regional corporations, and government entities.

Responsibilities

*Monthly closing of financial book based on US/Local GAAP
*Prepare financial disclosure for shareholders, regulators, etc.
*Prepare management reporting for NCL's top management
*Preparation, reconciliation and analysis of Financial Statements
*Preparation and monitoring of accounting records
*Transaction review and booking instruction based on US/Local accounting standard
*Preparation and analysis of other accounting related reports (management reporting, expense analysis, etc.)
*Balance Sheet Control

Requirements

*A person with experience in the industry and high potential in taking managerial positions in the future will be highly preferable
*Work experience in Financial Department for 2 or more years
*Japanese and English communication skills at business level
*Ability to logically understand issues with high comprehensive skill
*High motivation
*PC skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
*Audit experience in accounting firm a plus

Remuneration:
8-12 million yen depending on skills and experience
