Responsibilities
* In partnership with hiring managers, ensure a sound and cost effective selection process of individuals
* Plan and implement compensation programs and reward systems
* Manage annual salary administration and other compensation processes
* Ensure payroll process is effective and employee information is maintained in the database
* Consult with and coach management and employees on effective problem resolution skills
* Serve as point-of-contact for employee relations and ensure that managers comply with locally relevant laws and practices
* Work with Legal office and other necessary parties to manage individual labor issues
* Assist HR Director in HR organization operations
Requirements
* Over 6 years of HR related business experience
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* Good computer skills especially MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese
* Experience in consumer goods, manufacturing or retail environment preferred
* Goal orientated with creative problem solving abilities
