AVP - Reconciliation Team Supervisor

Company Description

A financially strong and growing American securities house is looking for an experienced and dynamic bilingual professional to lead their Reconciliations Team.

Responsibilities

*Supervise daily processes done in the team
*Manage 5 staff
*Perform / oversee all reconciliation processes done for the region (Asia)
*Create daily MIS as the control centre for Asia
*Keep associated static data and metrics updated
*Support / oversee various User Acceptance Tests for reconciliation
*Support the Group manager to handle various aspects of people management from recruitment to evaluation
*Conduct regular review to optimize daily processes and implement changes / solutions
*Work closely on the project of a new reconciliation system introduction

Requirements

*7 - 10 years experience in the industry (preferable with operations background)
*Strong leadership, training and teamwork skills
*Solid understanding of financial products
*Strong presentation skill
*Excellent business communication skills both written and verbal in English and Japanese
*Strong analytic and problem solving skills
*Good financial experience (e.g. expense management, general accounting)
*Provide value-added ideas and recommendations for improving existing processes

Remuneration:
10 to 12 million JPY
