Company Description
*My client is a major American manufacturing company operating in Japan for over 30 years with over 100 employees
*They are looking for a finance manager to assist the controller in supervising all back office finance and accounting
*This position supervises 4 staff and reports directly to the Japan Controller and to the company's Asia Pacific HQ
Responsibilities
*Supervise and manage the day to day accounting and finance for Japan operations
*Coach and develop the Finance department staff (currently 4 members)
*Ensure timely and accurate reporting and analysis to senior management in Japan, and Asia Pacific Office on monthly/quarterly/annual basis
*Advise operating management of the financial impact of business decisions
*Anual operational plan and monthly forecast
Requirements
*5-10 years experience in finance/accounting for a gaishi company
*Native level Japanese + Business-level English
*Strong experience with both G/L and operational analysis
*Previous experience in manufacturing/maker company required
