Company Description

Asset Management arm of highly successful European financial institution seeks an experienced Financial Controller to help establish a new Alternative Investment Entity (securities products) dealing with structured products and hedge fund business. This is a fantastic opportunity to help start-up a new business under the support of a proven entity.

Responsibilities

*Report to CEO
*Responsibility for all accounting and financial reporting for the entity
*Calculation of investment risk for the firm
*Regulatory, Management and Head Office Reporting for the entity
*Liaise with Compliance Officer to manage legal and regulatory-related documents for the firm
*Responsible for some administrative documentation and general affairs related to the establishment of a new business

Requirements

*Native-level ability in Japanese
*Business-level English
*JSDA Naibu Kanri qualification preferred
*At least 5 years of financial control experience in a financial industry (priority given to more experienced candidates)
*Ability to meet deadlines and required levels of accounting quality
*Solid understanding of management information systems, databases, general ledger and other associated systems
*Ability to correspond closely and effectively with local regulators is a must

Remuneration:
12 to 18 million JPY
