Company Description
European Investment Bank is looking for a Compliance officer who has potential to handle all responsibilities as Head of Compliance in the future.
Responsibilities
*Ensure adherence to the Worldwide Compliance Standards and the Code of Conduct
*Monitor and report to the Management Team and to the Global Compliance Officer
*Monitoring and maintenance of the strategy for compliance in Japan
*Monitoring of and reporting on adherence to policies and procedure
*Implementation and management of any changes within the Japanese and (as applicable) international bank law, rules and regulations
*Build and maintain relationships with local regulatory authorities
*Continuously search for ways to improve compliance excellence
*Continuously monitor risks, in particular compliance risks
Requirements
*Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English
*Highly motivated, self-starter
*Excellent negotiating skills
*At least 8-10 years of relevant experience as a compliance officer at foreign commercial or investment banks
*Strong analytical skills
*Good knowledge of commercial banking and OTC derivatives, structured and securities products;
*Licensed securities sales person
*Bilingual in Japanese and English
*PC skills

Remuneration:
Up to 18million yen depending on skills and experience
