*Our client, the market leader in global real estate asset management and full-service real estate operating, is seeking talented professionals to join the expanding accounting team

Responsibilities

*Challenging and rewarding role in world class real estate company with the opportunity to work with industry leaders
*Two to three step interview process with fast local decision making
*Being involved in the due diligence of new project including corporate-type deals
*Managing operating companies acquired through corporate-type deals (management of accounting department, cash management, internal control, training, accounting system implementation, etc.)
*Reviewing quarterly financial statements combined/consolidated by project and those supporting schedules for Fund controllers
*Loan administration including signing off quarterly reporting to Lender (payment date statement, etc.) and updating loan information
*Determining amounts of quarterly Funding and Distributions from/to the Funds
*Reviewing annual reporting packages based on US GAAP for Fund controllers
*Reviewing various annual reports to meet statutory reporting requirements for TMK
*Being involved in the tax planning (income tax and consumption tax, etc.) and tax compliances process
*Approving payment requests for SPC??s
Supervising managers and staff accountants
*Communicating with deal officers and Fund controllers
*Communicating with JV partners

Requirements

*Bachelors Degree with a major or concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred
*Several years of private accounting experience required including some management experience
*CPA not required but preferred
*Bilingual speaking, reading and writing skills in English and Japanese preferred.
