Company Description
Our client is a leading financial services provider
Responsibilities
* As Head of HR, manage overall Japan HR department (approximately 10 subordinates) and its performance
* Create, implement and maintain new HR strategies for Japan, keeping in mind corporate goals and objectives
* Use creativity to design and improve a comprehensive HR management system specifically for Japan operations
* Communicate with overseas counterparts in order to represent Japan HR interests
* Plan and manage annual HR budget for Japan
* Reporting Line: Managing Director
* No. of staff Managed: 8-10
Requirements
* Experience with designing and implementing an HR Management System
* Ability to push back on senior business people
* Management experience of a team/group in human resources
* Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles.
* Able to forecast and prepare workforce planning and budget.
* Conducts complex financial/business analysis including preparation of management reports.
* Native-level Japanese
* Advanced-level English
Preferred Experience
* The ideal candidate has HR Management experience in either Japanese or multinational organizations of large size
* Director-level experience is preferred

* Must have strong communication skills and the ability to understand a complex business
* Strong Leadership and people management skills
* The ability to effectively delegate tasks and take responsibility for the results of your subordinates
