Overview
The Compliance Expert role will have a specific focus on supporting sales practices in Japan, but also in the South Asia,Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Company Description
Compliance Office is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance with laws and regulations worldwide.This includes the implementation of policies and procedures that will ensure the company's compliance as well as testing and verifying that policies and procedures are adhered to.
Responsibilities
Compliance Office is a newly founded department. The Compliance Expert reports directly to the Global Director of Compliance Field Operations. He/she is responsible for operation and development compliance program, including support for Code of Business Conduct and related compliance practices and policies:
Requirements
*University degree in law or an similar area.
*Overall more than 5 years of work experience, especially legal experience in compliance or
commercial law in an international environment
*Fluent business English/Lauguange proficiency in Japanese required
Preferred Experience
*Skill in contract drafting or negotiation,regulatory compliance,accounting,auditing,sales practice
or human resources
*Legal experience in the areas of detection and prevention of fraud or corruption preferrd
*Hand-on with extreme attention to detail and written documentation
*Ability to do in-depth research and to interpret written guidelines and documents
