What is Temp-to-Perm?
Temp-to-perm contracts were first introduced in Japan in December 2000. In recent years they have become an increasingly popular way for companies to meet their staffing needs.
In a standard temp-to-perm contract, the staffing agency (WSA) dispatches a contract worker to the client company for a predetermined period of time, up to a maximum of 6 months. At commencement of the contract, it is agreed the worker may be hired as a full-time employee when the contract finishes.
This approach gives the worker an opportunity to experience the company culture before making a long-term commitment, and to see if the job responsibilities and environment is right for them.
At WSA, our client companies have been increasingly requesting temp-to-perm arrangements of late. Candidates and clients alike are finding temp-to-perm an excellent way to ensure a permanent position is the right choice.
WSA is ready to dispatch our registered bilingual staff in specialized fields. For companies seeking more information, please contact our Consultant by phone (03-3544-7310) or email (haken@wallstreetjapan.com).
