Paul Dupuis became the roundtable member of New Kansai Vision sponsored by Kansai Economic Federation

Paul Dupuis, WSA Director of West Japan was selected as a member of "New Kansai Vision" economic roundtable sponsored by the Kansai Economic Federation. The first roundtable session was held on May 22, and there will be 3 more sessions thru October to discuss three key themes (1) Building a strong industry, (2) Creating a symbiosis with Asian countries, and (3) Fostering independence of the local region towards a new growth strategy for the Kansai area.

This roundtable forum consists of 9 intellectuals and key leaders from the Kansai business community. Paul Dupuis from WSA represents local Osaka business and is the sole non-Japanese member. Based on his experience in the recruitment industry in West Japan, he sees the growing fluidity in the labor market as one of the keys for further activation of the recovering Kansai economy.
Paul Dupuis, fluent Japanese and Kansai-ben speaker and a long-term resident of Kansai, is pleased to participate in this forum and continue to work with the Kansai Economic Federation to strengthen business in this region.
